After more than 40 years of service, David Shteremberg has retired as the CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors at Steren Electronics International, effective March 31, 2021. In his retirement Mr. Shteremberg has sold all Steren Electronics International rights and assets to the USA market to Steren Solutions, LLC (Employer Identification Number: 83-0995560).
Steren Solutions LLC, a Minority Business Enterprise (MBE), will be owned and headed by Alex Cohen and Carlos Antonio Flores. Alex Cohen, an industry veteran with 20 plus years of experience, served as the Chief Operating Officer at Steren Electronics International. Mr. Cohen will be the President of Steren Solutions and run the day-to-day strategic operations. Mr. Cohen received a bachelor’s degree from ITESO University in Guadalajara, Mexico, and an MBA in Executive Leadership from the University of San Diego.
Carlos Antonio Flores is a Navy veteran with over 20 years of supply chain experience in strategic planning and execution. He is the founder of CoronadoDC a company providing logistical support to federal and state agencies. Mr. Flores will be part of the Board of Directors and strategic planning. Mr. Flores holds an MBA in Executive Leadership from the University of San Diego and a bachelor’s degree from San Diego State University.
Steren Solutions continues to operate under the dba Steren Electronics International and “Steren”. As we move forward, we are investing in organizational infrastructure and product selection to stay ahead of an ever-changing global demand.
Under the new company structure, we will be able to leverage our combined supply chain knowledge to provide our clients with an improved ready to ship product selection, create greater efficiencies and significantly increase our market share.
As with all important business decisions, we will work closely with our clients, partners, and employees to make any EDI integration process as smooth as possible. In the meantime, be ensured that you will continue to receive the same high-quality products you have come to expect.
